How do I shop Fabricworkroom.com?

FabricWorkroom.com has the most comprehensive product and fabric options available. Every month we add new fabrics and styles to make our product line fresh and exciting. Because of this commitment, there is a lot to digest and consider on our website. Thus, we have created this quick guide to help you navigate better and ensure a great shopping experience with us.

If you love to shop by product type, then the fastest way to see the all the styles is to click on the blue links on the left side of the site. Once you find the style you like, then you can easily browse all the many fabric colors and styles that are assigned to that product. You can conveniently order free swatches while previewing any product. After selecting a fabric, you navigate to the "Customize Your Product" page where you can add your custom touches and finalize your price.

If you love to shop for fabrics first, we have created the Fabric Library where you can see all the fabrics in one place. We have three different workrooms (Full Custom, Budget Custom and Semi Custom) that stock thousands of fabrics. Below we will explain the differences of each workroom. In the Fabric Library, you will see all the available fabrics in each workroom. Again, as you preview the fabrics, you can easily order a free swatch or view the products that can be made in that fabric.

We also sell all Waverly Fabric patterns by the yard purchased directly from Waverly (no seconds or defects). We stock several dozen Waverly patterns in the workrooms that allow you to price finished products right on the site. However, for any Waverly pattern not found in one of our workrooms, we will make any product on our site in your favorite Waverly pattern. You just need to contact us for a custom quote.

How do our Workrooms Differ?

We have three workrooms to bring you the greatest product and fabric selection all in one place. If we don't have it nobody does! There are so many options and product choices it is nearly impossible to describe them all here. However, our general overviews below will help guide you to the right workroom that will meet your design and budgetary goals.

Budget Custom ($)

Our Budget Custom Workroom offers the same level of workmanship and fabric quality as our Full or Semi Custom workrooms. Budget Custom has fewer size options available than the our other two workrooms. This means more savings. Budget Custom is perfect for the customer who wants straightforward products in standard sizes. All window treatments are mounted on curtain rods. Most valances are suitable for a variety of different window sizes. Drapes are made in one width panels for mainly decorative function and the length can be ordered to the inch. The bedding department has products for standard bed sizes including Duvet covers, bedspreads, comforters, shams and bed skirts. Semi Custom has shower curtains in standard sizes extra long shower curtains and stall shower curtains.

Semi Custom ($$)

Our Semi Custom Workroom offers the same level of workmanship and fabric quality as our Full or Budget Custom workrooms. The only difference is fewer options for customization. This means more savings. Semi Custom is perfect for the customer who wants straightforward products in standard sizes. All window treatments are mounted on curtain rods. Most valances are suitable for a variety of different window sizes. Drapes are made in width measurements for both privacy and decorative functionality and you can size the length to the inch.

Full Custom ($$$)

Our Full Custom department is where you can have it all. In this workroom we have 1,500 fabrics and products that you can size to the ¼". Here we cater to you at a fraction of the cost of hiring a decorator. In fact, this is where many decorators shop with us. New fabrics are added constantly to keep the selection current and fabulous. Our goal is to keep Full Custom up with the latest trends in both fabrics and products offered. Full custom is where you can buy beautiful decorative hardware to go with all your window treatments. Extra long, extra wide is not a problem in Full Custom. Standard, thermal or blackout lining are all available here. If you don’t see a fabric you like, we will have one of our designers find it for you in our “in house” Full Custom fabric catalog. You will be pleasantly surprised that with all these options our prices are well below your local decorator custom window treatment retailer.
