A Continental Rod is a wide 2-1/2″ flat curtain rod. A 3″ rod pocket will fit this size rod. There are several width options and they are adjustable to fit any size window. The return length is adjustable from 3-1/2″ to 5″.

For Safety, the tassel breaks apart under minimal pressure. This feature is to protect children and pets from getting tangled in the loop. Should the tassel come apart, it’s very easy to reassemble. Simply snap the two halves back together.

Buckram is a “stiff” cotton fabric material used to add stability to fabric for making many products. In the making of window treatments it is used primarily in the header to give the fabric stiffness for creating pinch pleats, etc. Without buckram many window treatment headers would not be possible.
