The tilt function on a Wood Blind can be motorized. You can remotely open and close the slats at the touch of a button. This feature is particularly useful for blinds located in very hard to reach locations such behind sofas. Motorization will not raise and lower a shade – it is for slat tilting only.

The matching tilt wand open and closes the slats. You have the option to replace the tilt wand with string cords. The choice is a personal preference. If you decide to order tilt cords, we do not recommend placing the lift cord and the tilt cord on the same side of the blind. Cord tangling may become an issue in daily use.

On a standard blind, small holes in each slat are part of the manufacturing process to accommodate the lifting and tilting ladders. If you need a higher level of light control and/or privacy, then you should upgrade to Routless Slats. The slats and ladders are manufactured differently to eliminate the small holes.
- Routless Slats cannot be ordered if you decide to add Fabric Tape
